National Cadet Corps:The Institute has Increased the NCC Signal Coy from the year 2004.
NCC unit in NMIT running tasks under the direction of Capt.Rajesh.N, Associate NCC Officer.

Games And Sports: Cricket, football, volleyball and basketball courts can be found within the campus. The faculty functioned SRCA Cricket Tournament at October 2004. The yearly intercollegiate volleyball tournament has been held in December 2004. The yearly faculty sports match was held in June 2005.


Soft Skills: 


  • Campus Link can be a programme known as Infosys which helps students throughout the procedure for recruiting.
  • Kannada Rajyothsava is conducted yearly in November as part of Kannada Cultural Activity organised by BELAKU. Students and staff take a part in the programme that showcases the cultural tradition of both Kannada and Karnataka.
